The Initiative Foundation exclusively serves the 14 counties and 160 hometowns that comprise central Minnesota.

Since 1986, we have invested more than $61.5 million in the region through targeted grants and business financing investments. As of October 31, 2011 this includes:

• 3,588 grants totaling $22 million

• 661 scholarships totaling $529,072

• 867 business financing investments totaling $39.5 million, securing more than 11,252 quality jobs
