The Initiative Foundation exclusively serves the 14 counties and 160 hometowns that comprise central Minnesota.

Since 1986, we have invested more than $66.2 million in the region through targeted grants and business financing investments. As of March 31, 2013 this includes:

• 3,996 grants totaling $24.7 million

• 701 scholarships totaling $618,172

• 887 business financing investments totaling $41.5 million, securing more than 11,654 quality jobs
  
  
• $255 million in private business investment leveraged
  

• 6,334 community leaders trained
