| |
Community-based funds, built and managed with the Initiative Foundation support.
Communities that support the foundation’s mission but wish to focus resources locally, can partner with the foundation to establish a community fund. Each fund is designed to meet the goals and needs unique to that community in its efforts to improve the quality of life for its residents. The foundation provides matching dollars, training, staff assistance and co-funding on projects. A local advisory board raises funds, develops funding priorities and makes funding recommendations to the Initiative Foundation for distributions. |
