Our Healthy Communities Partnership (HCP) program trains and supports local communities to develop and implement plans that strengthen their communities.
Our Community Funds are developed by local communities that wish to designate their community-derived funds to projects within their local area.
Our Methamphetamine program assists with creation and support of local coalitions to combat and prevent methamphetamine production and use.
FIRST Grant Community Survey
(for residents of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec or Pine Counties)
Have local businesses closed in your area? What makes the existing ones tick? Is your town equipped for growth?
Fill out this survey and let us know how you feel!
In order to help your area become stronger and better prepared for future growth community members are invited to share their experiences and suggestions about the assets and barriers for local businesses and growth by filling out a short survey (only 9 questions). The results of this and conversations at various local meetings will be used to develop and implement a regional economic development strategy (specifically for Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec and Pine counties).
The project is organized by the Northern Technology Initiative, a regional economic development organization, in partnership with the Initiative Foundation. Funding support is provided by a Framework for Integrated Regional Strategies (FIRST) grant from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
