Foundation, Chamber & Police Offer ‘Workplace Safety & Security’ Meeting
All Morrison county employers are invited to attend an informational meeting on workplace safety and security from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17 at the Initiative Foundation office in Little Falls.
A panel of law enforcement experts will provide employers with tools to monitor potential threats to workplace safety and to develop a plan for responding to difficult situations such as intruders with firearms.
Local law enforcement leaders, Morrison County Sheriff Michel Wetzel and Little Falls Police Chief Mike Pender, will also be on hand to answer questions about local services and procedures.
“We want to provide area employers with an opportunity to think about and prepare for these situations,” said Kathy Gaalswyk, Initiative Foundation president. “It’s crucial for employees to feel safe at work.”
The meeting is co-sponsored by the Little Falls Police Department, Morrison County Sheriff's Department, Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the Initiative Foundation.
There is no charge for the event but registration is requested. For more information or to register contact the Chamber at 320.632.5155 or email Deb Boelz at dboelz@littlefallsmnchamber.com.
