Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer reports to the president and serves on the senior leadership team to provide expert counsel regarding the financial performance of the organization. The successful candidate also provides strategies for organizational growth and development, identifies opportunities for efficiencies, and is the senior leader responsible for human resources and information technology.

  • Directing the strategic vision for the Initiative Foundation in its fiscal strategies, financial policies, and information technology practices.
  • Developing tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information for managers and leaders.
  • Leading organizational change with courage and empathy, and by modeling behaviors that support an environment of trust and transparency with a willingness to make hard decisions that will better serve the mission.

This position is based at the Initiative Foundation's Little Falls headquarters at 405 First St. SE and requires a portion of worktime in the office. As a hybrid workplace employer, this position allows for some Central Minnesota-based remote work as well as access to our Brainerd and St. Cloud satellite offices.
